The River of Life - 2010 Summer Intern Program

 

Are you aspiring to be in vocational ministry? Are you a college student looking for a way to spend your summer learning about church ministry? We have an incredible summer internship opportunity for anyone interested in learning, developing, and growing in their love of God and in their gifts for ministry.

Who should apply?

The internship is designed for a college student interested in going to another level in their ministry or walk with God. If the student is interested in vocational ministry, especially within the context of a local church, then this internship is for you.

 

How long is the internship? Intern orientation starts on Tuesday, May 25th, 2010 and the summer concludes on or around Monday, August 2nd, 2010.

 

Are Summer Interns paid? No interns will not be paid.

 

If I need housing, is it provided? If accepted into the program we will provide housing at no cost to the student. Meals will also be provided for each student.

 

What would an average day look like? You can CLICK HERE - to download a sample Intern schedule.

 

Can I get college credit for interning? This depends on your school's requirements. We are more than happy to work with you and your school to make this happen.

 

Do interns work full-time or part-time? All summer internships are full-time (40 hrs/wk). Hours vary depending upon the role, but availability on weekends and evenings is likely.

 

How do I become an intern? Everything begins with an application. Applications can be submitted online or by mail beginning January 15th, 2010. The application due date is Tuesday,March 23rd, 2010. Applications will be reviewed at the end of March and the top candidates will be interviewed. Final decisions will be made by the middle of April.

 

Can I work a part time job in addition to my internship? Yes. Our preference is that you focus solely on the work of your internship, but you are free to work another job. On the days that you are off.
